Mission
Living Space works to help others lead healthy, ecologically-sound lives by offering expert, holistic inspection and consulting services for personal and business habitats.
- As a certified Bau-biologist ("building biologist"), I conduct environmental inspections of homes and businesses , analyzing the overall health of the structure and offering suggestions for improvement.
- I offer consulting services for homebuyers, homeowners and architects (e.g., choosing healthy materials for their investments or projects) .
- I provide greater environmental reports for realtors, homebuyers and homeowners concerning the surrounding environment of their home or business.
- I educate different populations, from high school classes to birthing classes, about the relationship between the built environment and health.
- I establish longer-term relationships with clients because of my holistic approach to health in relation to the built environment.
The ultimate goal of Living Space is to raise awareness of the health issues and sustainability of our built environment, personal and business practices. I will use inspections and classes as educational tools for the homebuyer concerning sustainability issues, and I will encourage the adoption of practices and use of materials that contribute to increasing health and decreasing the human impact on the environment.
